Quality Machined Components

The M&R Engineering team puts quality first!  We believe that every employee at all levels of the organization is responsible for building quality machined components. 

“Quality Starts Here and Now!” is not just an opening statement in our Quality Manual.   It is our commitment to manufacturing quality machined components.   We are AS9100 and ISO9001 Certified.   We are also approved by DLA to manufacture Class 2 Threaded Fasteners.   Because we offer a high variety of parts with high volume low complexity Multispindle Davenport machines and low volume high complexity high precision CNC machines, our team members gain experience quickly.  With the acquisition of R&B Plastics, our employees are also exposed to both metal and plastic high precision machining.  Because of these complexities, we use diverse measurement techniques from simple hand tools to visioning equipment and CMM machines.  We also provide AS9102 First Articles, perform gage R&R and process capability studies, and complete PPAPs to satisfy customer needs.

People are a linchpin for the success of our quality machine shop.   Our employees are skilled specialists in their job duties, and our employees undergo training in areas of company policies, procedures, CNC programming, CAD/CAM, advanced machining techniques, blueprint interpretation, use of inspection equipment, sampling techniques, and overall knowledge of production. We invest in on-the-job training and also partner with local training facilities to further improve our employees’ skills.

We are also ITAR Compliant and DDTC Registered to support our customers that flow down that requirement.

AS9100 Rev D is a widely adopted and standardized quality management system for the aerospace industry.

DLA Approved Manufacturer of Class 2 Threaded Fasteners

DLA Troop Support Industrial Hardware has approved M&R Engineering as a qualified Manufacturer of Class2 Threaded Fasteners under the Qualified Suppoers List of Manufacturers (QSLM) program.

ITAR Certified

The U.S. Government requires all manufacturers, exporters, and brokers of defense articles, defense services or related technical data to operate by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

DDTC Registered

Registration with the DDTC provides the U.S. Government with necessary information on who is involved in defense manufacturing, exporting and brokering activities.

The Made in California Program supported by CMTC recognizes manufacturers who produce parts within the State of California and together employ more than 1.4M people. With our ideal location on the West Coast, California is also a major exporter of manufactured goods globally.
