Advantages of Polycarbonate Plastic Machining

Machined polycarbonate is ideal for electronic applications. This is due to the fact that it is exceptionally transparent.  In addition, Polycarbonate is outstandingly elastic, this allows for the plastic to maintain its strength even under pressure.  Another key factor to note is Polycarbonate's exceptionally resistance to heat and acid. As we stated before, polycarbonate is classified as a thermoplastic which describes the way the plastic responds to heat. Thermoplastic materials become liquid at their melting point. A major useful attribute about thermoplastics is that they can be heated to their melting point, cooled, and reheated again without significant degradation.
