Vacation, Sick and Great Schedules

M&R Engineering provides 8 holidays per year, 3 sick days per year and 1 week of vacation for the first year and 2 weeks for the second year. Our office staff works 8 hours per day Monday through Friday, and our shop runs 10 hours per day Monday through Thursday. First shift: 5:30 am to 4 pm. Second shift: 3:30 pm to 1:30 am. Overtime opportunities exist based on customer demand.

SWISS Programmer

Job Summary

The CNC SWISS Programmer responsible for Swiss Tsugami and Hanwha lathes for metal components with tight tolerances in a job shop environment with daily set ups. The position requires the individual to be able to take the program and set-up the machine and meet production set-up and run times.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience setting Swiss Programming
  • Must be able to effectively install tooling, set-up and program of our Swiss Hanwha/ Tsugami lathes unsupervised within the required set-up and run times for each operation
  • Must be capable of changing tools and editing programs for increased efficiency
  • Must be capable of using appropriate measuring tools and equipment
  • Must be capable of choosing appropriate cutting tools, machine fixture clamps and soft jaws
  • Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings and sketches
  • Must be able to inspect and be responsible for the quality of your own work
  • Hanwha and Tsugami experience is a plus

Quality Control Inspector

CNC Lathe Supervisor with Mastercam- Programming Experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a CNC Lathe Supervisor to join our team! This position is responsible for 13 machines and eight operators between first and second shift. This is a very hands on position so your programming and troubleshooting skills will determine the success of your area. We are a job shop with varieties of aerospace and commercial customers, so every day you will face new challenges and opportunities for process improvements. We are ISO9001 and AS9100 certified, so we have procedures in places. We also take pride in our quality and on-time performance with our customers, so you will be responsible to ensure your team produces good quality products.

Requirements
  • Well versed in Programming and setting up CNC Lathe Machines
  • Must be able to proficiently use Mastercam programming software
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing personnel
  • Must feel comfortable with fast-paced environment
  • Must have great time management and problem solving skills
  • Must have a drive to learn and grow
  • Must be a team player
