Vacation, Sick and Great Schedules

M&R Engineering provides 8 holidays per year, 3 sick days per year and 1 week of vacation for the first year and 2 weeks for the second year. Our office staff works 8 hours per day Monday through Friday, and our shop runs 10 hours per day Monday through Thursday. First shift: 5:30 am to 4 pm. Second shift: 3:30 pm to 1:30 am. Overtime opportunities exist based on customer demand.

Job Summary

We are seeking Quality Control Inspector to become an integral part of our team! We are a fast paced job shop that manufactures machined products from a variety of metals and plastics including aerospace, defense, and commercial industries. The position involves first article, in the process and final inspection of small to medium-sized precision metal and plastic parts within an ISO9001 environment.

Requirements
  • Three-five years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Reading and understanding of complex engineering drawings
  • True Positioning and Geometric Tolerance
  • Reading and understanding of work instructions via shop travelers

Entry Level Methods Engineer

Job Summary

The Methods Engineer is responsible for design, development, testing, and evaluation of integrated systems for managing industrial production processes, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Material Handler

Job Summary

We are seeking a Material Handler to become a part of our team! You will manage a logistics team and direct daily operations.

Requirements
  • Reads job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements
  • Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area
  • Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device
  • Inventories materials on work floor and supplies workers with materials as needed
  • Performs routine maintenance to include recharging batteries, lubricating, fueling and cleaning
  • Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules
  • Makes sure all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area
  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

M&R Engineering is seeking Deburr Technician to become an integral part of our team! We are a fast paced job shop that manufactures machined products from a variety of metals and plastics including aerospace, defense, and commercial industries. The position requires taking finished delicate parts and removing sharp edges and burrs using small hand tools, scotch bright, wire wheels, soft wheels and emery cloth on small to medium-sized precision metal and plastic parts within an AS9100 environment.

Requirements
  • Experience in deburr operation in machine shop
  • Reading and understanding of work instructions via shop travelers
  • Detail oriented and precision work focus, attention to detail is a must!
  • Ability to use Micrometers and Calipers
  • Reading, writing and communicating verbally in English
  • Using your fingers and sitting for a long periods of time
  • Good eye sight and attention to detail is very important

CNC Tsugami Setup Operator with fully paid medical

Job Summary

The CNC Tsugami Set Up Operator responsible for setting up jobs on CNC Swiss Tsugami and Hanwha lathes for metal components with tight tolerances in a job shop environment with daily set ups. The position requires the individual to be able to take the program and set-up the machine and meet production set-up and run times.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience setting Swiss Machines
  • Must be able to effectively install tooling, set-up and program of our Swiss Hanwha/ Tsugami lathes unsupervised within the required set-up and run times for each operation
  • Must be capable of changing tools and editing programs for increased efficiency
  • Must be capable of using appropriate measuring tools and equipment
  • Must be capable of choosing appropriate cutting tools, machine fixture clamps and soft jaws
  • Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings and sketches
  • Must be able to inspect and be responsible for the quality of your own work
  • Hanwha and Tsugami experience is a plus

Multispindle DAVENPORT SET UP OPERATOR

Job Summary

The Davenport Set-Operator is responsible for set up and running two machines in a high pace environment. The position requires the individual to be able to work independently with minimal to no supervision.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience setting up and maintaining two machines
  • Positions and secures specified cams, gears and stops to control stock and tool movements at each station
  • Positions and secures tools in tool holders. Sets cutting speeds and feed rates
  • Moves controls to cycle machine through settings, stopping machine and adjusting tool positions and machine controls to allow for operating factors such as timing, the clearance between moving parts and chip removal
  • Performs general routine maintenance of the machine intended to insure machine performance
