Multi-spindle Davenport Screw Machine Shop Capabilities

Multi-spindle Davenport uses gears and cams to work on 5 spindles simultaneously.  As a result, it is able to produce screw machine components in extremely short cycle times.  In addition, our Davenport Machine Shop uses various attachments like spindle stops, cross drill and tap, and rev-n-lok attachments.   Consequently, these attachments allow us to add complex features on screw machine parts, for example,  slots, flats and cross holes to be machined simultaneously.  In other words, special attachments allow us to keep the cost of screw machine products to a minimum when  screw machine shops products are extremely price competitive.

We utilize Davenport Screw Machines as a perfect solution for high volume production of screw machine parts under .785 inches in diameter.   Above all, Davenport Multispindle Screw Machine Shop is generally runs high volume products ranging from several thousand parts to million plus order quantities.  Originally started as a Screw Machine shop, M&R Engineering continues to invest in it's Screw Machine department and it's capabilities.  As a result, we are able to produce best screw machine products, screw machine components, and screw machine parts.  In early 2017, we added two extended bed Davenport screw machines to the department.  Consequently, we are able to produce  up to 4.5” length Multi-Spindle Davenport Screw Machined products in high volume parts for aerospace, defense and commercial industries.
