Mill Experienced Set Up Operator

M&R Engineering is a fast-paced environment with many opportunities to learn and challenge your technical capabilities in high precision machining. We believe in pushing the envelope and that quality is the responsibility of every line employee.

Job Summary

The CNC Mill Machine Set up operator responsible for Brother and Fadal Mill Centers for metal components with tight tolerances in a job shop environment with daily set ups. The position requires the individual to be able to take the program and set-up the machine and meet production set-up and run times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Must be able to effectively install tooling, set-up and troubleshoot 3 axis Mills
• Must be capable of changing tools and editing programs for increased efficiency
• Must be capable of using appropriate measuring tools and equipment
• Must be capable of choosing appropriate cutting tools, machine fixture clamps and soft jaws
• Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings and sketches
• Must be able to inspect and be responsible for the quality of your own work
• Brother and Fadal experience is a plus

Multispindle DAVENPORT SET UP OPERATOR

Job Summary

The Davenport Set-Operator is responsible for set up and running two machines in a high pace environment. The position requires the individual to be able to work independently with minimal to no supervision.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience setting up and maintaining two machines
• Positions and secures specified cams, gears and stops to control stock and tool movements at each station
• Positions and secures tools in tool holders. Sets cutting speeds and feed rates
• Moves controls to cycle machine through settings, stopping machine and adjusting tool positions and machine controls to allow for operating factors such as timing, the clearance between moving parts and chip removal
• Performs general routine maintenance of the machine intended to insure machine performance

CNC SWISS Set up operator

The CNC SWISS Screw Machine Set up operator responsible for Swiss Tsugami and Hanwha SWISS for metal components with tight tolerances in a job shop environment with daily set ups. As a result, this position requires the individual to be able to take the program and set-up the machine and meet production set-up and run times.

The position requires the individual to be able to take the program and set-up the machine and meet production set-up and run times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience setting Swiss Machines
• Must be able to effectively install tooling, set-up and program of our Swiss Hanwha/ Tsugami lathes unsupervised within the required set-up and run times for each operation
• Must be capable of changing tools and editing programs for increased efficiency
• Must be capable of using appropriate measuring tools and equipment
• Must be capable of choosing appropriate cutting tools, machine fixture clamps and soft jaws
• Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings and sketches
• Must be able to inspect and be responsible for the quality of your own work
• Hanwha and Tsugami experience is a plus
• Must feel comfortable with fast-paced environment and frequent changeovers
• Must be able to work effectively with little to no supervision
• Must have great time management and problem solving skills
• Must have a drive to learn and grow
• Must be a Team Player
• Must be willing to train operators on running equipment
